THE TRAVELLING PRIEST AND THE DEAD BODY

Many years ago, there was a Buddhist priest called muso Kokshi. He lost his way but there was no one to ask for help.
He hurried uo the hill and found an old priest inside. Muso asked for abed for the nigth.
they will give you food and a bed. the people in the main room are all villagers. the y have said goodbye to my father and left gifts of food for the buddhas.
strange thing always happen in the house where the dead body lies, the young man continued. please come with us . we will find yiou a contortabe bed in teh village. the young man was very happy with this answer . now sir said the head of te c}haouse we mustd wnt to the roomm. Muso said prayers and then sat quiedy for a few hours.

As he warched the Shape lifted the body. but the head of the haiuse said to Muso, if this law of the village is broken, terrible thing will hapen.

She cold think only of him. but she never saw him again she fell ill, and died.
the priest was abble to sell the robe at a good price. she only worw it for one day theb she fell ill and began to act strangely

she worw it ony once before se fell ill. the robe was given to the temple q}a thit time,
once more it was bought by a girl
finally the priest was sure that there were bad spirts n the robe
they made a fire and therew the robe onto it. the robe began to burn suddenly bright characters wewrw seen on it.
pieces of burning wood fell onto the roofws house the fire moved from street and from area to area
that terrible day is still remembered in tokio.
